Field Coordinator, Skills and Empowerment - Gender and Inclusion MainstreamingJob Description: - Facilitate field based actions to implement GMDI interventions in collaboration with Skills Development Programme (SDP), Ultra Poor Graduation Programme (UPGP) and Humanitarian Crisis Management Programme (UPGP)
- Provide technical guidance to field management of SDP, UPGP and HCMP to achieve GMDI outcomes and objectives
- Develop monthly and annual plan action plan, meeting plan, set targets and deliver to respective supervisor
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with SDP, UPGP and HCMP for achieving GMDI targets within timeframe
- Take initiative for gender skill transfer of SDP, UPGP and HCMP staff, volunteers, workers and stakeholders
- Organise, facilitate and participate in different district level meetings, dialogues, trainings, workshops, events etc.
- Identify operational challenges and take steps for problem solving as well as provide referral linkages related to gender based violence
- Ensure regular documentation and reporting to respective supervisor
- Ensure effective field based budget expenditure in collaboration with local accounts
Safeguarding: - Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Requirements: - Masters preferably in Economics/ Sociology/ Anthropology/ Education/ Public Health/ Women & Gender Studies or any other relevant discipline from any reputed university.
Experience Requirement: - Minimum 3 (three) years professional experience in the field of gender and development, gender mainstreaming/ gender integration, women empowerment, violence against women issues
Additional Job Requirements: - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Sound understanding of the conceptual issues of gender and women empowerment
- Ability of strong coordination and partnership building
- Good capacity and management skill of field operations
- Facilitated training sessions, workshops and meetings
- Work experience in Cox’s Bazar context, both host and camp
- Preference for those with experience in skills projects
- Preference for those with work experience in and/or with donor agencies and UN organizations, especially GAC, ILO and UNHCR
- Good command over both English and Bangla
